Howie Goldfarb with 20 years of Sales and Marketing experience founded Blue Star Strategic Marketing in central Vermont to serve as the objective and strategic adviser of brands to help them grow and thrive. His Degree in Finance gives him a CFO’s view of marketing, bringing a dose of reality to the confusing world of jargon, spin, and hype. He had a 14-year career in direct B2B industrial sales before deciding to lighten up his dreary work life and move into advertising/marketing. But that time was spent sharpening his experience on growing revenues and learning what it takes to deliver exceptional value and service to customers and clients.
The goal of Blue Star Strategic Marketing is to create, deploy, and execute the best marketing strategies without regard to favoring any platforms or tactics other than what is best for our client.
The goal of our Space Agency Notes blog is to offer insights so that Brands and Marketers can determine the real value of marketing channels and grow their businesses with strategies and tactics that fit their goals and needs, not the needs of their Agencies, which is to bill them more.
Over the years Howie has worked with clients in every industry except Mining, from Fortune 500 Companies on multi-billion dollar programs to small businesses with limited resources. He has expertise in Sales, Marketing & Advertising, Social Media, and Business Strategies. He has experience in R&D, Engineering, Customer Service, Project Management, Inventory Management and Procurement, Warehousing, Quality Assurance, Account Management, and Business Operations.
Also playfully known as the Chief Alien of Blue Star Strategic, Howie relishes his role as an industry outsider. When he learned brands paid for Impressions, he knew something was wrong. When he learned much marketing research is flawed and skewed with bias and then resold as truth to Brands and unsuspecting business people, he found his calling.
